Tracy Estephane

Main teacher in Sarvam Yoga and in the 200 hours teacher training.

Alignment, Adjustment, Teaching Methodology and Techniques, and the Art of Teaching.
Tracy started her yoga journey when she discovered Bikram hot yoga in London as she was completing her masters degree. With every drop of sweat she was letting go of things that no longer served her - mainly an unhealthy lifestyle and outlook on life - and her world started to change one breath at a time.
As she started experiencing the healing benefits of yoga, she quickly became dedicated to a daily practice and was eager to spread this new-found positivity around her.
In September 2014, she joined a training in Scotland with Esak Garcia, international yoga champion, which completely shifted her practice and reinforced her longing for teaching yoga.
In June 2015, she finally took the leap to turn her passion into her profession and joined the 200 hours Hot Yoga Teacher Training at the Absolute Yoga Academy in Thailand.
Directly upon completion of the program and returning back home, she started teaching private and public yoga classes - including Hot Yoga, Vinyasa, Power Yoga and Yogalates - in Beirut’s leading yoga studios and gyms. She was a member of Sarvam’s family as a dedicated practitioner since they opened in 2016 and joined their teaching team in April 2017. She continues to deepen her knowledge in yoga by attending workshops and trainings with some of the most qualified yoga teachers worldwide. She is now co-leading yearly 200hr teacher training programs in Lebanon, specializing in vinyasa yoga.

Her mission is to spread the yoga practice and lifestyle in her surrounding to help people experience its life changing benefits just as she did. Her classes inspire practitioners to adopt an introspective attitude and start a journey into self-awareness and personal development on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels.

Philosophy, Pranayama, and Meditation.

Meditation is Sandy’s companion - always there for her whenever she needs it.
Sandy started her meditation journey in 2012 as a way to explore and manage her own mind. After discovering Bihar Yoga in 2014 and feeling so connected to the tradition, she decided to leave her advertising job, pack up her bags and join the “Bihar School of Yoga” in India - the world’s first yoga university - for a 4month course in advanced yogic studies.
The inner transformation she went through during the course led her to enrol in a teacher training course, following the same tradition.
In 2017, Sandy started her intensive studies in Raja Yoga, the ‘Yoga of the Mind’ with Swami Niranjanada; she goes to Bihar every year for progressive trainings.
To practice her Karma Yoga outside the ashram, Sandy established “Koun”, a Lebanese NGO that aims at spreading yoga and meditation in underprivileged communities in Lebanon.

Asia Zaraket

RYT 200 from Sarvam Yoga

Asia got introduced to yoga in 2008. She became totally immersed in it in 2017 when she got interested in the morning challenge program provided by Sarvam Yoga studio. Daily practice started as a tool to relieve scoliosis pain and recover from work but shifted to become a time where the mind just let go.

The body became stronger and the mind became calmer. She discovered what a magical tool the breath is and how it is overlooked in our daily lives. Having realized the profound benefits of yoga, she wanted to share that knowledge and experience, exchange energy with people and become a yoga teacher.

When Sarvam Yoga announced their teacher training it was an opportunity she could not miss. Asia got her RYT 200 hours in Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow Yoga in 2019 and joined the teaching team in Sarvam there in 2020.

Julia Mahseredjian

RYT 200 from Sarvam Yoga

Julia had a major ski accident, she found herself lying on a hospital bed with a broken femur and hip. She developed scoliosis, deformity, used to limp and always be in pain. After several operations, she underwent a total hip replacement surgery, she has now an artificial hip made with titanium metal and ceramic.Being banned from any sports, Julia was desperate to move her body.

She researched and found out that Yoga is the best therapy. And this is how she found Sarvam yoga. At first, Julia did not understand what yoga really was, the practice was hard, the postures were painful, the process was long.

After 3 years of consistent transformational yoga practice, she decided to take the 200-hour yoga alliance Sarvam Yoga teacher training program. The journey was about focusing on her mental strength: persistence, acceptance, peacefulness, serenity, and calmness.

Yes, she have an artificial hip.
Yes, she can do yoga.
and YES, she is now a yoga teacher.
For Julia, yoga is therapy!

YARA HAYEK

Water and Environmental Engineer, Yoga teacher

I went to my first yoga class in 2016 as a way to add stretching to my workout routine. Beyond the stretching the feeling of floating in bliss in Savasana kept me coming back to practice. Since then, I started to practice Hatha yoga on and off through the years.

After experiencing positive changes in my body, I decided to join the 200 hours Hatha Yoga teacher training in 2019 to deepen my own personal practice. I got immediately hooked as I discovered the philosophy and the spiritual part of Yoga.
Since then, I have been on a journey to understand the body mind connection. I joined the morning challenge of Sarvam Yoga and practiced Ashtanga Vinyasa at least 4 times a week. My body became stronger and healthier, and Sarvam Yoga became the place where I find a sense of contentment. The more I learned and grew as a yogi the more my passion turned to teaching and sharing the practice I love with others.

I completed my 200 hours of Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training with Sarvam yoga school and currently teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa and Power Yoga.

My favorite definition of yoga is:
The purpose of Yoga is to attain spiritual perfection though the control of the body, the senses, and the mind.
Inspired from Patanjali, the traditional “founder” of the Yoga system.

sima hojeij

200 hours, Sarvam Yoga School

I started practicing yoga in 2011 and tried different styles including Bikram Yoga, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, Power yoga and I instantly fell inlove, but it wasn’t untill a few years into the practice that I trully understood the purpose of yoga which is beyond the physical element.

It helped me find a sense of calmness within, taught me how to connect with myself, and how to let go of things that I cannot control. I discovered the healing side of Yoga, which is what made me want to become a yoga teacher and help others experience the wonderful things that this practice has to offer.

I completed my 200H RYT Teacher Training course in Ashtanga Vinyasa with Sarvam Yoga School in April 2021, and currently teaching both Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga.
