Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga is an ancient system of Yoga, transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. The sequence of the practice follows a set series of postures that flow from one to another by synchronising breath with movement, starting with Sun Salutations, followed by standing postures, and then seated postures connected through vinyasas, and a finishing sequence. It is a dynamic and physically demanding practice that produces intense internal heat and purifying sweat to help detoxify muscles and organs.
