Hala Okeili is the founder of Sarvam Yoga and the visionary behind its highly regarded teacher training programs. After a successful career in law, she followed her heart’s calling and fully dedicated herself to the study, practice, and teaching of yoga.
In 2016, she opened the first Sarvam Yoga studio in Gemmayzeh, Beirut, followed by a second location in Naccache in 2022. Over the past decade, Hala has built a strong reputation for her expertise in alignment, adjustments, teaching methodology, intelligent sequencing, and the business of yoga.
A certified E-RYT 500 teacher, Hala is also a long-time Ashtanga Mysore practitioner. She has spent extended periods studying in India, including over five months at the Sharath Yoga Centre under Paramaguru Sharath Jois, deepening her understanding of traditional Ashtanga Yoga. She continues to refine her practice with esteemed teachers such as Laruga Glaser, Kino MacGregor, Joanne and Mark Darby, David Williams, and others.
Hala leads the Mysore program at Sarvam Yoga, offering daily practice rooted in the Ashtanga method. She is also a committed meditator, weaving mindfulness and introspection into her teachings and trainings.
She has taught and led numerous 200- and 300-hour Teacher Training Courses, and has been invited to teach at major yoga events and festivals in Lebanon and abroad. Her teaching is grounded in precision, presence, and compassion—guiding students to deepen their practice, refine their teaching, and live with more intention and authenticity.
Hala’s vision is to create a conscious, inclusive community rooted in tradition, transformation, and creativity, where yoga becomes a living practice of joy, depth, and connection.
